Hello! Thanks for checking out my website! My name is Halla, wife and mama to a 2 year old boy and also the maker behind Mon Petit Sage! 

I've been crafting for as long as I can remember! At age 10, I remember weaving a knit scarf on a loom in my grandparents' apartment in Beirut, Lebanon and making vases out of clay that my grandma would proudly display. By high school, I had moved back to Antigua and can you guess what my favourite class was? Yep- it was art! I had an amazing teacher that encouraged me to explore all forms of creativity from painting to woodcarving. Over the years I continued to dabble in mostly painting and various textile art. I re-discovered my love for fibre art while on maternity leave, after a close friend encouraged me to sell my pieces. I haven't been able to stop crafting since!

My art pieces are influenced by my diverse cultural background and the natural environments I grew up in. You might notice some Canadian, Arabic or Caribbean flair in the patterns or colours of my work. My goal is to add some peace and beauty to your home with each wall hanging I create!
